Staying with my family, we appreciated the convenient location. Housekeeping did a fantastic job despite it being a busy holiday weekend, keeping our room clean and stocked, which was a relief with the little kids around.
My wife says that more parking spots would really help families.

great access to parks and nearby attractions for city strolls
I had a comfortable stay for one night and appreciated the easy walking distance to both dorton park and the north carolina music hall of fame, making my city exploration truly enjoyable. as a solo traveler, this place met my needs, though i noticed no breakfast was offered during my stay.

The location offers easy access to local attractions like shopping and the Cabarrus Arena. Amenities in the room include a microwave, mini fridge, and a large flatscreen TV, which are nice touches for a comfortable stay.
The renovation situation is a mess, with certain areas looking abandoned. Some rooms have serious issues like bad smells, mold, or cleanliness problems that left a lot to be desired. Parking lot cleanliness is questionable, with debris scattered about and a general feeling of neglect in the air.

The King Room was decent for a quick stay. The bed was super comfy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I appreciate the fridge and microwave for snacks too! The room could use a bit more cleaning since there were some dusty corners. The faint smoky smell in a non-smoking room was a little off-putting, so that could definitely improve. Overall, it fit the bill for a budget spot.

My room was surprisingly clean and the owner was super friendly, making the stay cozy. Plus, the renovated lobby is just around the corner!
Not gonna sugarcoat it. there were some serious issues here. Human fluids on sheets, roaches crawling, and zero breakfast? Yikes! The hole in the door didn't help.
